Little Harbor campground was rated “One of the Best Campgrounds in the West” by Sunset Magazine. It’s about seven miles east from Two Harbors.The only campground on the remote “backside” of Catalina Island, it’s a small, sandy beachside campground perfect for playing in the water. Have #kayaked over from San Pedro to #Catalina Island twice now, both times staying in the Two Harbors Campground for two nights. Since the campground is built on a hill, its a little tough carrying your gear up to your campsite, so recommend trying to reserve a site near the beach if possible…during the summer the campground is full on the weekends, however, during the week there is more.
