About DCH. DCH Animal Adoptions, which stands for "dogs, cats and horses", is a NSW-based non-profit animal rescue charity (CFN 18284) committed to the rescue and rehoming of unwanted and neglected domestic animals – mainly dogs, cats and horses – but occasionally other animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs. Through our programs, individuals learn to interact with a variety of animals waiting to be adopted. The focus is to support people to meet specific goals. Participants work as a team and spend valuable hours caring for puppies, dogs, cats, kittens and our wildlife visitors! Each of our centres set their own adoption fees, from around £135 for adult dogs to £200 for puppies under six months. Although we can't give away our dogs for free, your adoption fees cover a lot of veterinary expenses – such as microchipping and neutering – that would usually add up after buying a pet.
